I'm taking the pups to my sister's house today. I wish she had a pool. It's going to be nearly 100 degrees in Corona!! Not only that, it wreaks of cow out there! I'll probably just sit and indulge in some of her tivo'd shows wh
ile the pups play. This is Princess Dandelion. She's a high-energy stray I found posted up for FREE on Craigslist! I was looking for a puppy a couple years ago when I was feeling a little down and out about myself. She has definitely filled that void. When looking for a dog, always try to find one for free. If you look on Craigslist, you'll find tons of dogs who need homes. A lot of people ask for hundreds or thousands of dollars for their pets trying to get make some money off their unwanted dogs and I feel if these owners are really desperate to find their pets a home, they wouldn't be asking for a penny. You can also go to your local Humane Society. They usually ask for a small donation fee, and that's to cover shots, neutering a
nd microchips. This is Cheevy. My sister and I kidnapped him from her friend's stepmom who had been neglecting him. He had a little girlfriend who lived with him in the backyard. She was mysteriously eaten by some sort of animal outside. Only to be found a few days later in the bushes. I can't even imagine what Cheevy had to see that night. When we stole him, he was vicious! He nipped at my feet and barked ferociously at us to the point where we were scared to even touch him, let alone take him home. Finally we got him in a crate and he smelled horrible. We put him in the tub as soon as we got home. He was covered with fleas and we washed him about 5 times. He'd calmed down by then a bit. When he got here he'd pee on EVERYTHING. Still does, a little bit but not to the same extent and he wears a diaper inside now. A few weeks after, we noticed he barely had any teeth and the teeth he had were completely rotten. Which made me think, his old family left a bowl of hard food for him outside, he was probably swallowing it whole! Also, that means they barely went to check on him when he was outside besides to fill his food bowl. Everyone was scared to touch him because of his temper but now he's honestly one of the sweetest dogs. He'll still try to bite but its just funny now that we know he has no teeth. Poor guy. He is a major cuddler and has learned how to give sloppy kisses with that giant limp tongue. To imagine this dog not ever getting any hugs and kisses breaks my heart because he is so loveable! So I'm definitely trying to make up for his lost times, and hopefully his gf is looking down and knows that not all humans are so horrible.
